ST. XAVIER’S COLLEGE, JAIPUR

Department of commerce

The Department of Commerce was established in 2010 with three teachers and there were around 120 students. Over a period of ten years, the Department has reached greater heights and now it has 6 full-time faculties of about 720 students. It is one of the college's major departments. The Department conducts fests, seminars, workshops, quiz contests, industrial tours, guest lectures, etc., which constantly motivate students to actively participate in sports and other extracurricular activities. The Department of Commerce, formally set up as a separate entity in 2010, has imbibed the tradition of exploring new frontiers of knowledge and innovation in academics. It has redefined commerce education in the city. College is one of the memorable parts of a student's life whether it is about friends, professors, or growth of life. We need to make so many decisions as it will make an impact on the career and future of one's life. Looking back from last 10 years, there are so many memories that come as a flashback in students’ mind. From the first day itself the college has surprised the students with such a phenomenal step by step learning process. It is a period which defines your life. You enter a college as a confused teenager and a right college serves the very purpose of molding you up in each respect and St. Xavier’s College does an exceptionally good job in doing so.
