Idaya- A clothing label with a blend of Indian tradition and Contemporary trends. It is based on 3 key pillars i.e. Quality, Comfort and Sustainability.

Every problem that we face, there is always an opportunity that awaits us.

The pandemic that hit us last year brought with itself anguish, pain and never ending challenges. It has changed the way people shop, travel, learn and behave. The main reason why Idaya came to existence is “The Pandemic”. I have always dreamt of being independent but did not imagine it would be through starting my own brand. The popularity of Organic clothing have grown tremendously over the past few years in both Indian market and globally. The key highlight of our brand, Hand block prints is a centuries old art form popular in India. This printing technique utilizes a hand carved teak wood block that is dipped in dye and stamped by hand onto cotton. The result is truly mesmerizing and connects us with our rich tradition and history of hand-made crafts.

We are currently operating through our Instagram handle which is @idaya.in. Started out as a small business, Idaya has grown many folds in its first year of operations. Daily routine of owning a small scale business is that you have to be ‘One Man Army’, from procurement, manufacturing, product shoot, social media marketing, and sometimes delivering the product on your own, these are not challenges but opportunities to learn, grow and adapt .I have a firm belief that we should have a broader vision and a right mindset to do things which we aspire for. This journey has just begun, there is a lot to unfold, and I am ready to take it all up.
